My boss has an old OEM Dahua (HCVR5108H-V2) DVR with 5 Analog cameras 2 with PTZ capabilities and 1 IP camera. I don't know the manufacture of the cameras, none have any labels that I can find. Anyway, the IP camera died so I bought a DS-2CS2043. As you probably have already determined I am inexperienced and didn't realize that the DVR couldn't handle the new IP cameras. Anyway I am looking to replace the DVR and am asking for recommendations. I would like to move up to one that can handle 16 cameras as my boss has already asked to add a few more cameras. Along with handling newer cameras he wants one that he can see the feed from his phone. I was looking at a Dahua XVR6108H, but any recommendations would be welcome. Thanks!
