Hello everyone, I will need outdoor and indoor cameras. No LPRs. Since I have a few on hand. Max of 16 cameras I will need. Currently I use DMSS and not a huge fan due to UI.

I like the new UI in DMSS

Maybe try Reolink? Or Uniview for

DMSS has a new UI?
( goes to App store)

Updated is a better word

All depends on your update frequency.

I updated about 4-6 weeks ago. My last update was early 2024

The late spring 2025 interface is quite different but not completely. New functionality as well.

I find the majority of people who don’t like a UI, come from another UI, or don’t spend the time to understand how it works, or find one feature that some other UI does “better” that then sours them on the entire app.

This isn’t unique to mobile camera apps. It’s been true of software development since I can remember

And to complicate the issue we now have a whole generation of users who come here after exposure to mobile Apps that are the only management tool for consumer cameras that don’t have 1/10th the functionality, are single purpose/single product built, with users who aren’t even aware things like “exposure” or “Iframes” exist because their consumer app didn’t even have such settings.

or don’t spend the time to understand how it works

Quit talking abut me like that! I like Uniview but it seems to cost more. I also like Dahua, and unless your replacing everything it may be more cost effective to keep the bestof what you have and add some of the newer version cameras. JMHO
