I ordered a Dahua IPC-
HFW5231E-Z and received a
HFW5231EP-Z

I think the difference is PAL vs. NTSC. True?

Should this matter to me?

I don't see any Starlight settings? Is the any way to identify the Starlight aspects are "in there"

I think the difference is PAL vs. NTSC. True?

If true, can I just load the NTSC firmware over the PAL firmware?

I read the fluency on the NTSC version is better. Is that true?

Yes, that P indicates PAL firmware is default.

This is the same as the HDW5231RP-Z turret units I received from @EMPIRETECANDY where I was able to load the NTSC firmware on them. I would suspect that you can do the same with your bullet cameras as well.

As for the Starlight "settings" If the model number matches up on the firmware information page, you can trust that you are good. I don't know of any special settings, the cameras just work great in low-light.
