I5-6500t good enough for on LPR camera?

I've got a HP Elitedesk 600 G3 micro with 16gb ram and 250gb ssd that I didn't know what to do with. Then I thought,why not use it for a dedicate LPR camera only. Would it work?
Looking at using the Loryta IPC-B52IR-Z12E S2.

That would be fine. i5-6500T is not blazing fast, but it won't even break a sweat running one 2MP camera even if you don't use the sub stream.

I take it that you are going to use BlueIris? Why not just add it to your system already? Why a dedicated machine with a second license just for that one cam?
