Ideal camera setup using router->firewall->POE switch->NVR

Hello, new here and do not have a good networking background so I've been reading a lot of posts, but can't seem to find what I am looking for and need some answers or help finding them if they already exist. I am running a 12-16 camera setup. Currently connected in the following configuration internet-> router->firewall->POE switch-> 12 cameras and an ethernet cable to the PoE NVR. Now I am wondering if it is more ideal and better use (because of limited switch slots), to run it in this new configuration...internet-> router->firewall->POE switch-> (non-poe switch?)-> PoE NVR -> 12 cameras. My firewall is a Netgate/pfSense and my switch is Netgear GS752TPv3 48-Port PoE+ (no separate uplink/downlink as videos on here show). Because of this, I am wondering if I need a non-poe switch to bridge the gap between PoE switch and the PoE NVR so I can run the cameras on the back of the NVR instead of using the PoE switch slots. I added a picture below. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
