Looking for some new cameras for my home security system and stumbled on this.
Pretty incredible night vision capability

"camera was developed for military use, has an effective ISO rating of 5,000,000"

Incredible low-light camera turns night into day

I'd say BS. Military uses IR and Thermal for a reason.

The Military is happy to use anything that costs 5-6 figures; thermal just tells you someone is there, wont let you identify friend/foe.. and getting IR to shine a few miles away at any measurable effect is pretty power expensive and reveals the camera's location.. I could see these being popular on drones and keeping gawkers away from Area51

From what I've read is that iso has a lot to do with sensor size. They bash pvs14 but i can't imagine someone will be strapping this camera on their head anytime soon. I'm really impressed with the video but I'd like to see how it works vs camo. Can't beat thermal when ot comes to that.
