If I buy a Dahua or Hikvision, they have their own SW to motion detect etc
I would like to know some more info:
1) you use/set their SW with the browser or is there a program exe to download, like BI in windows?
2) if there isn't an exe, is the SW upgradable only through firmware upgrade, with all the problems when buying from China?
3) I saw these SW can send a mail when triggered, but is it possible to execute an external program or at least to communicate with the pc with a trigger to make some other tasks?
4) it seems Dahua has tripwire/line detection for all 4Mb models, does hiks too (as I saw here some models haven't those in description)?
