I already posted here once and have been lurking for a while.. Just realized, i should probably introduce myself.
I'm a small biz owner, focused on building Enterprise Mobile apps, for Employees (Sales, Marketing, Field), Partners, and Customers of Businesses.
I'm in the midst of deploying home security solution after having done a remodel. Thanks to the remodel, i was able to lay down Cat6 cables for ethernet as well as for IP Cams, inside and outside the house. Planning on using POE (I have an 802.3AF TP-LINK TL-SF1008P switch). I have purchased BlueIris Pro, and have built my own desktop PC with UPS and ample disk, so I'm good on the sw/storage side.
Much appreciate the postings from various members on this forum. I'll share my experiences (good and bad) as i complete my rollout.
