I have always wanted to build a system that would relay live FLIR down to cops in the street.
Helicopter w/ cellular down link to guys below.
Yep with $400 in parts that's more than possible from a tech stack perspective, so it's just a matter of creating the proper UX that makes it a more viable option than radio feedback/instruction/guidance.

I've sent off for a USB cam.

However, I suspect your ipcam solution is probably better.


The only difference here is that I would like to have this powered 24/7, but streaming only when I ask it to.

I'm interested in
1. Specifically how the cam streams to BI
2. If I could stop/start this remotely. (I planned on using tasker to start/stop streaming with ip webcam pro)
3. If you have a recommendation of a cheap / decent ip cam to purchase (UK), waterproof and bike-friendly
