Ip camera implemention

I'm wondering if I could implement the camera ip like picture that I attached..or I have to wirings cable's IP camera straight to server's room.could you say me porns and cons this method that I want to implement

I use the dahua NVR without the POE ports. All of my cameras come off of external POE switches.
Depending on how many cameras you want to use and resolution, you will want to get a nvr that has a fast enough ethernet port.

I would suggest you drop a message to Andy at Empiretech who is a approved vendor on here and he can help you figure out what cameras and what NVR will work properly with them. I have had excellent luck with him and just spent another $1,000 this week for more cameras.

Yes it can work with the correct equipment.
You will need to set up each camera with a static IP and then set up the DVR.

Using POE switches for the traffic works well.

Don't run all of the traffic through the router, it will slow down the data.

What you have drawn up will work providing your runs from your racks to your server s less than 330 ft.

Will you be using VLANs or will your entire network be on the same IP range?

That depends on how many cameras you will have. If you are just starting out and plan to add more in the future, then you "might" want to build with gig in mind for the future and use fiber between your switches.

My project has ip camera... approximately 35 camera must run but use straight wirings to server's room is hard and maybe impossible..I thought use this method like picture that I attached...my project has 5 floors that server's room put in the middle of apartment and 4 sub rack which put on each floor....I have reserves cable in each rack and I want to use it

I want use hikvision brand ..but I don't decided which model until now..I want to know if this method is logically to implement after that choice model of nvr and camera..but I use 2mega hd camera is quality I want to buy

Blue Iris would be a great solution. Otherwise my preferences are Dahua, and hikvision... in that order. As @Old Timer mentioned, do not purchase a PoE NVR as that type will require the cameras be wired directly to the DVR. Purchase a non-PoE DVR and you can utilize the method you have drawn with switches in multiple locations (floor 1 & 2) and wired links from those switches back to the switch in the rack with DVR (floor 3).

Keep in mind, the maximum allowed length of a Cat 5e / Cat 6 cable is 100 meters (328 ft)
