What does the documentation you have for the camera say about initial setup? Does it have like a 'Quick Setup Guide' ?
You may have to perform a reset and start all over from the beginning.

As TonyR mention, you may need to reset the camera to default settings. That will probably set your camera to a different IP, as compare to your local network. Look for the default factory IP at the setup guide or google for "default IP for your x-brand camera", which may include the default password. I normally connect the camera directly to my PC (power the camera with a separate 12Vdc), matching the same IP subnet at both devices. Type the camera IP in your browser, then the default admin/password indicated in the setup-guide
