Just got this Amcrest IP8M-2796EW-AI. Working to get it setup. I can't seem to get the Key Frame above .50 on the Main Stream. The Sub Stream is working great.
I'm using Blue Iris 5.7.9.12. Camera firmware is up to date.

Current Settings:
Encoding: H.265
Smart Codec: Off
Resolution: 3072x1728
Frame Rate: 15
Bit Rate Type: CBR
Bit Rate: 1344 (customized)
Frame Interval: 15

I've adjusted all of these settings in almost every combination. I have another IPCam working fine at 15FPS 1.00 Key Frame.
Any help is much appreciated!

I know exactly what to do, if you haven't figured it out yet.

I went through the same thing with the exact same camera.

This is a firmware issue. update to the most recent firmware on the armrest website for this cam.

before you upgrade export your settings.

Upgrade.

Then you need to reset to default settings. There's an option to only reset the camera settings not the network settings. That's what I did. Then just set the interval to match the framerate.

If you know how to get the audio working let me know !

@dannyeverest Sorry this is going to seem like a dumb question but have you double checked that your audio is turned on for your cameras? Also if I am thinking about the right camera it don't offer LineIn but I found a couple of my cameras at one time didn't have both Mic and Line in but the option was there for Mic and line-in and at first my cameras audio didn't work because it was defaulted to Line-in and not the Mic?

Using the WebUI, log into the camera, go to Setup, Camera, Audio and make sure that both Main and Sub channels are enabled with a check mark and double check that the camera is setup for mic.. The camera screen shot below does offer both but wanted to show you where and what I was talking about..

If you are talking about audio output? The camera only support 1 way audio so it would not have support for an output..

Thank you,good to know.

Currently I am trying to to get the audio that the camera picks up to go to blue iris. I've tried different settings. And I can get auido in vls on rtsp, but not blue iris.

Is it working for you? what are your cameas settings and blueiris settings?

Did you enable the Audio Channel in Bi? Sorry have to ask question as I can't see and don't know your setup.. But yes my Amcrest 4k Ai camera is working with Audio in Bi even with H.265 as the format of the channel..

Maybe the issue is your using your Audio different format? Try ACC 8000..

However looking in my Bi setup for the camera it says it is using 711 so not sure what is going on there.. I mean the camera is setup for ACC as you can see in my WebUi picture above for the camera but Bi says what is in the picture below?

Ok I made a short video of Bi and show that the audio was working.. I also did go to the settings in the pictures above but for some reason it didn't show in the video as my screen capture didn't show the extra windows in the Bi capture.. Sorry about that but the pictures are in posting above.. Just wanted to show that audio is working in my camera, While it is a different one then yours it is an Amcrest 8mp Ai camera and should be setup the same?

Oh sorry I forgot the one image thought it posted with the one with the audio output in the first post. .But I seen it wasn't there.. So here is that picture as well..

Here is the post to that area for the camera.. Also just added another 8mp Ai Amcrest camera to Bi, as you can see in the picture below the green speaker is lit. The camera is in an area that I don't post pictures of because of the location it is mounted so I have the camera covered but it is an Amcrest 2779EW-Ai camera..
And the picture to my settings is just above your double picture post.. ALso my other Amcrest camera don't have anything listed in the link either..

Idea, Remove the camera and add it back. On the first scrreen before you even do the search make sure you click on the icon that says Enable Audio Channel.. Maybe that was something you forgot to click when you setup the camera.. Then next window put in the cameras Ip and password and do the search.. It should populate with Amcrest info.. Again.. I would only do this after you setup your camera in the WebUI as ACC 8000 as that is what my cameras are setup for also might be another thing missing in your setup.. Just an idea..
