IPC-HDW4231EM-AS passes the impact test

Was installing my new IPC-HDW4231EM-AS in a spot about 12 feet high on an outside wall. In a moment of distraction I fumbled it and it dropped down straight on the concrete surface below and landed hard, see the dent:



Miraculously, it still works and has been in continuous service for over a week!

Nice to see they are tough.
