IPC-HDW4431C-A 6mm focus problem

Hi, I am trying to use the IPC-HDW4431C-A 6mm for close up animal watching within about a foot or two.

It currently is focusing behind the feeder and the animals look very unfocused and blurry.

Is it possible to modify it to focus on the closer objects or should I be looking at a different camera all together?

that is a fixed focus camera. it is not focusing on anything. it has a wide depth of field with some natural focus point (i don't know where, but it is likely around 10 ft to infinity). Their verifocal camera go down to about a foot IIRC. If you are wanting a 4MP dome for some reason, perhaps the IPC-HDW5431R-Z, otherwise use the 2MP IPC-HDW5231R-Z
