IPC-HDW5831R-ZE vs IPC-HDW5830R-Z

Hello,

I'm a noob to this forum, lots of information and great site. Thanks a lot to all the volunteers.

I was about to buy this lorex kit:
4K Ultra HD IP NVR System, 4 Outdoor 4K (8MP) IP Bullet Cameras and 4 IP 4K Audio Dome Cameras, 4x Optical Zoom Cameras, 250FT Night Vision

After reading lot of posts decided not to buy Lorex and order from Andy.

I'm planning to buy this NVR: NVR5416-4KS2 and need 8 cameras. (7 cameras will be installed outdoor and one of them will be indoor). I'm not sure which model camera to buy, confused between these two models:

IPC-HDW5831R-ZE vs IPC-HDW5830R-Z.

Also, can anyone share the price paid for these models?

Any suggestions?

IPC-HDW5831R-ZE vs IPC-HDW5830R-Z. Different housing, just select which one you love, As my testing, the HDW5830R-ZE has little sharper pic than the 5831R-ZE one.

The nice thing about the IPC-HDW5830R-Z - the "mickey mouse" face style - is that with more metal on the face you can do a very nice job painting the case to match your home and thus increase the WAF value! I also like it a bit more as it seems to me to be sturdier vs vandalism.

Both should do well.

Remember to also consider getting the PFA130-E junction box or the PFB203W wall mount ( double check this is the one, there is also a PFB204W for the other turret size ).
