Which Dahua should I get the IPC-HFW5231E-Z5 or IPC-HFW8232E-Z?

This will be mounted in front of my house up high (2nd floor), aiming down at the street. The street will be about 35 feet away from the base of the house. I want to be able to get license plates if needed.

I will have other cameras for wide and close range for key areas.

i would opt for the Z5 for anything over 25 feet away, until the Z12 is needed (i don't think we can buy that yet). It gives substantial added flexibility.

Will the Z5 be okay for that distance? from point to point, the distance will probably be around 40-45 feet.
