IPC-T5442T-ZE best firmware for animal detection?

Is the latest FW the best or is the pre AI FW better? Any recommendations?

Sounds to me like this is an S2 camera. If it is, there is no firmware version for the T5442T-ZE that's worth a hoot for animal detection. The IVS object filters cannot be turned off, even though the UI says they can. IVS will trigger only on what it thinks are humans or vehicles. There are older versions of the 5442 firmware that will IVS trigger on animals, but those versions will not run on the varifocal 5442. Best bet for animal detection is to get an S3 541R with animal detection in IVS, second best might be an older S2 fixed focal 5442 with older firmware.
