What's the difference between these two cameras? I couldn't find a thread to compare them. Thanks

They are the same camera. Andy had to rename them for what he sells.

@wittaj I read your review of this camera here. It sounded like night performance was better compared to the 5442. Is that right? Thanks!

Yes, but that thread is comparing the S3 version of the 5442(54IR) compared to the original 5442 camera

5442 is Dahua naming and 54IR is Andy's naming. Same camera.

Andy has newer firmware on his website.
