Guys I swapped over and connected to the above Cam , walked back inside ....turned on the NVR and I was viewing my backyard through the cam without even touching a thing ? why lol ? This was my first cam install and i had prepared myself for a day of headaches.

I did notice though in Cam Registration --- > Status --- > Type ....that the OEM cams name was IP Camera , whereas all my other non OEM cams actually had model numbers ,.....is this normal ?

Assume you have a Dahua PoE NVR? If so, yeah, its that easy except for those who try to complicate it ;)

Dont worry bout the name. Some do some dont.

Yes mate Dahua POE NVR ,...well since they are so easy to install i reckon I'll just have to purchase a few more newbie's then...lol
