IPC-T54IR-ZE-S3 AI/IVS Problems

I have two new IPC-T54IR-ZE-S3 cameras with the latest firmware. When I try to create an IVS rule, I'm not able to save it. I draw the region where I want to have detection, but when I select "Next," I get the error that says, "Please draw graphics." I think something similar is happening when I use the Video Metadata to try and draw an exclusion area for vehicle detection. I draw the area, I click apply, it says everything is good. But when I go back in to that screen, the exclusion area is no longer there. Am I doing something wrong?

What browser are you using?

It works best with Internet Explorer (yeah we know LOL, but it is still available).

Some have had it work with other browsers, but these cams are sensitive to browser.

I was using Chrome. Seriously, IE? I guess I can try it!

I use Microsoft edge on my windows computer and have absolutely no issues and I have the same cameras as you!

Thank you very much for the suggestion. I tried both Firefox and Chrome, but neither worked. So, I opened my Windows VM and used Edge. It works like a charm.

Between Edge and Edge in IE mode, I can usually get most any FW version working good. On occasion I use Pale Moon 32 for some older FW
