On May 5 2018 I noticed something weird when reviewing footage recorded from four separate IPC3042WD cameras. At approximately 4:25PM that day, each camera experienced a time shift in its on-screen time display, lasting for approximately 1 to 3 minutes, then reverting to correct time display on all cameras.

System config:
All four Hikvision IPC3042WD cameras have firmware V5.4.4 build 161125.
All use time settings of GMT-5, NTP server=TIME.NIST.GOV , DST start=NOV1 SUN 02, END=MAR2 SUN 02, BIAS=60MIN
The cameras have been in operation for about a year, and are 24x7 accessed by two separate computers:
Computer1 runs iVMS 4200 PCNVR, to capture motion events.
Computer2 runs multiple tabs of Firefox ESR 52.7.4(32 bit), and each tab connects to the web interface of a camera, and records it 24x7.
None of the cameras or computers are setup to be externally/remotely accessible.

Additional detail of the observed issue:
This is how long the shifted time display occured on each camera, in seconds:
116, 184, 130, 142.

This is a table showing the start and stop time-shifts for each camera, in format "actual time" -> "shifted time start" followed by "shifted time stop" -> actual time resume"
16:26:27 -> 15:26:41 15:28:36 -> 16:28:23
16:25:20 -> 15:25:35 15:28:37 -> 16:28:24
16:26:14 -> 15:26:29 15:28:36 -> 16:28:24
16:26:02 -> 15:26:17 15:28:36 -> 16:28:24

To explain, for the first camera, the on-screen time display was at 16:26:27 when it suddenly changed to 15:26:41, which then incremented until it reached 15:28:36, then suddenly changed to the correct time of 16:28:23

I also have these other cameras on the same network, they did not show a time shift around the same time:
DS-2CD23345-I, firmware v5.4.24 build 170303
DS-2CD2142FWD-IS, firmware v.5.4.5 build 170124
Dahua IPC-HDW4431C-A-V2, software 2.420.0000.22.R build date 2016-12-09

I haven't yet reviewed more logged footage to determine if time-shifts occur at other times, I just happened to stumble across this event when reviewing one camera, and found that it was also present on my three other IPC30423WD's at approximately the same time.

Any ideas as to what can cause such an on-screen time display anomaly?

Update: I checked recordings from other days, and sure enough every day about the same time (4:25PM) all the IPC3042WD's experience the temporary time shift in on-screen display.
The attached 5.7MB zip file (cam1-2018-05-05-timeshift-162520-to-162824.zip) is a cropped and trimmed mp4 that is an example of the timeshift.
