IR Illuminator or Camera Upgrade

That's a lot better than it was. It's lighting things up in the distance all around. Not sure the cameras are showing it as well as it might appear with something better. Now you need the other half of the equation.
What is that?

The better cameras as mentioned above. I don't know the Hanwha at all but I'd guess that you probably can get those looking a little better. Post some settings if you want and can see.

The cameras are only 2 MP but on a 1/2.8 so that is a plus. Here are the settings within the camera.

Was looking for a contrast setting but don't see one. Might try playing with SSDR on/off and at different levels to see if that might clear things up some. Also maybe try changing Gamma a little higher/lower to get more distinct black/white. That typically tries to level things to grey at whatever levels. Might give a little more contrast/crispness. Yours looks to have kind of a haze over the overall image (see the black cover on the grill) and I was trying to find some way of getting that to a more clear black.

Hard to judge sharpness and noise reduction (SSNR on yours). Might try higher or lower and see what effect it has. Too much sharpness and it will exaggerate noise. Too little and things will be soft. You can try an extreme change to see better how it affects things better and then back off whatever way from there.

Thanks, I will do some testing and see if I can get things looking any better.
