Is it OK to Install an IP Camera right below an LED flood light on an exterior wall?
To be specific 6 inches below.

Sure. Why not? I find being slightly off axis gives a better image details, but it still works.

It'll probably see better if the white light isn't shining directly into the lens of the camera. Worth a shot but I'd try it with a long patch cord before committing to permanent wiring. It'll depend on the tupe and size of camera as well. A big bullet will work much better than a bubble dome for sure because of length and glare resistance.

Bike_rider it depends on the fixture. Some fixtures are quite open and bleed a lot of light backwards. Others throw light only forwards and wouldn't be shining any directly on the camera. If no backwards light throw the turret should be good.

is this camera going to have any reflectors in view? if so you move it a lil further away and the light wont flare them up.
