What are prices like for an 8th gen, I always regarded that as a sweet spot last year as I think I’m still correct in stating that it is W11 compatible if you need to or are force to do so.

This will not run w11...-you need 8th gen ..8th gen is also much more powerful than 7th.

They said it comes with windows 11 so if it doesn't run windows 11 I will be asking for a refund
The system does not meet Microsoft requirements for w11. You can do a simply google search and see that. For intel processors it MUST be 8th gen or above.
There are workaround that the seller might by using but MS could plug those holes and you will be screwed when you need to reinstall. You should do a fresh install anyways on any used system.
Moreover, this system is already 8 years old and underpowered vs the 8th gen.

What system do you recommend for two cameras
An I-5 8500 will be more than sufficient... But if you have the extra money look at something even newer because you're going to put time and effort into setting the system up and you don't want to be starting with a eight or even 7-year-old system today...
