I just recently got 3 new Hikvision 4mp's going and I know I have a pc that is not up to the task of running cameras at 4mp, it is especially bad when I try to view these high quality 4mp clips in BI or other video player. I'm curious about the experience of people who are running 2 or 3 or more cams at 4mp in Blue Iris on a decent pc, is your cpu handling 4mp ok? I can bite the bullet and get a better pc or possibly an NVR if they are up to the task of running several 4mp's. Before I decide I was curious how your own pc (better than mine) is handling the load of 4mp cameras.
