I have 5 x Zosi C298 cameras.
2 Indoor and 3 Outdoor.
Whenever there is a power outage and the power is restored , my 3 outdoor cams do not automatically reset.
The 2 Indoor ones do .
I have to reinstall the 3 outdoor cams from scratch every time the power goes off and back on.
All 5 cameras are identical and they all connect via wifi.

Does the Zosi c298 user interface have a for setting a "static" IP vs. a "DHCP" in it's menu?
Routers will sometimes assign existing devices new DHCP Ip addresses after everything loses power.
If you can set a static IP, it should be able to be seen again upon restoration of power.
Not familiar with newer Zosi cams. I had a couple 2 megapixel ones 4-5 years ago.

I assigned the outdoor cameras to a Static IP . I then simulated a power outage, then restored the power.
Same problem Camera won't connect.
I also looked at my LanScan App and monitored the camera I did the outage test on. Power off, Ping green light goes off. Power goes back on ,Ping Green light comes back on.
I also spoke incorrectly in my first post. I said all cameras were identical. They were at one time but I have since changed the 2 indoor cameras to different indoor models. Confirming these two cameras work just fine (when power goes off and on again).
