Hi,

I’m currently working on a computer vision project with Dahua cameras, but I’ve encountered a significant issue. After a firmware update, the cameras have completely changed, and my system is no longer compatible.

I’m looking for documentation on firmware version V2.840.0000000.14.R or guidance on how to downgrade it back to the previous version.

Here’s a breakdown of the two camera batches:

Batch 1
Device TypeRS-CCPOE280IR4-DH2 (DH-IPC-HDBW2431RP-ZS-S2)
SystemV2.820.0000000.48.R, Build Date: 2022-06-14
WEBV3.2.1.1254246
ONVIF21.12(V3.1.0.1237257
Logo Ro-MainBlack, big

Batch 2
Device TypeRS-CCPOE280IR4-DH2 (DH-IPC-HDBW2431RP-ZS-S2)
SystemVersionV2.840.0000000.14.R, Build Date: 2023-11-24
WEBV3.2.1.1676618
ONVIF22.06(V2.0.1.80886)
Algorithm3.9.4
Security BaselineV2.3

I have around 300 cameras affected, and any help or pointers on where to find the documentation or how to downgrade the firmware would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance for your assistance!

Best regards,

Best you contact your supplier

The firmware versions you have listed, are these the previous versions before the update or are these the updated versions?
These are the updated versions. I would have liked to roll back, but they came with that firmware. Something tells me the hardware was modified because it fails when I try to roll back to the firmware available on the website.

I think those have been EOL for a while.

Sorry I'm not seeing what the current model equivalent is but typically you cant use FW from one model to another unless in the same exact series
