Ive got a Hikvision system setup at an office with :
- DS-7608NI NVR
- 3TB HD (came pre installed by distributor (Dynamic CCTV in the UK) cant remember what make / model HD it is, but presumably one that is fit for purpose)
- 4x DS-2C2D214FWD-IS cameras
When im on the local office network (200mbps up, 12mbps down) the Hikconnect iOS app on my iphone 7 (running iOS 11 latest) the live and recorded playback work fine.
When im at home (35mbps up, 5mbps down) he Hikconnect iOS app on my iphone 7 (running iOS 11 latest) the live view works fine, but the recorded playback is tempremental and sometimes dosnt work at all or will load but get stuck on a frame and not play fluid video.
When im on 3g / 4g neither the live or recorded playback seem to work.
I presume the issue is to do with bandwidth. Is it possible to tell either the NVR or the mobile app to send / receive a sub sampled version of the video in both live and recorded playback ?
