Maybe someone has some insight. I am trying to view my DS7732 NVR using iVMS-4200 (i've tried the lates and the previous "Lite" versions), but they keep hanging.
I have separately installed WinCap 4.13 (as I read this can cause problems)
iVMS-4200 starts up fine, even once I was able to view 4 cameras simultaneously, but then it will give me the Win7 donut of death and hand. If I force close it, I get an error message that DecodeProcess has stopped responding.
I'm running this on an
HP Elitebook Mobile Workstation with Intel i7 2630Q processor
8 GB Ram
Gigabit ethernet to the router (wired or wireless makes no difference)
Win7 Pro with all updates
For what it's worth, when I start iVMS-4200 and DecodeProcess use about 1% of CPU each, but if I click ANYTHING in iVMS it jumps to 13% of CPU.
Any thoughts or experiences?
