iVMS-4200_v2.7.0.6_Email_Not_Working

Hi,
First, I would like to say
I hope I have not missed this question posed
I am having problems sending email of
Alerts detected on my cameras.
I am using PoE IP cameras
I am using iVMS-4200 Version 2.7.0.6.
I am trying to send to Hotmail using these settings
Server name: smtp-mail.outlook.com
Port: 587
Encryption method: STARTTLS
If I go on System Configuration>Email there is no option to add STARTTLS
If I use SSL it fails to work.
If I try Device Management>Remote Configuration>Event>Email
I can get all my settings in here but it does not work!
Can someone tell me in fine detail what the correct settings should be and
where I should enter them ?

An Explanation would be useful to me and anyone else reading this post
