Got an issue with setting up IVS on channel 2 on IPC-HDBW5441F-AS-E2.

IVS is enabled.

but when I try to click the + to set up an IVS rule, it does nothing. Tried to reset to default and save and save failed. Anyone else encounter this issue?

I did a search for this issue on here but nothing came up.

I am running older version of FW

Should I update to a newer version of FW, this one?

Are you using Internet Explorer? Not Edge or Chrome with the add-in, but use plain ole Explorer still baked into Win10 and 11.

What is your FPS? If it is above 15FPS, lower to 5 for kicks and see if it allows you to set it.

Yes, I am using IE 11.

FPS to 5 doesn't do anything. I have IVS rules set up on Channel 1 but I can't create a rule on Channel 2.

And you are sure it is the 4MP version and not the 2MP version (The 2MP version could only do IVS on one camera).

If it is the 4MP version, then turn off IVS on Camera 1 and try it for Camera 2 and then try it on Camera 1.

And if that doesn't work, try the good ole factory reset.

Appears to be 4MP per the information tab. Also, should I update the firmware on this guy? Latest firmware was released May 2023.

Well best practice is to factory reset before a firmware update, so you could factory reset and see if it works. If not proceed with the firmware update, although I doubt that would do anything as IVS worked for both channels out of the factory on that model.

Ok, I'll give a factory reset a shot. I think I tried that before and had this same issue. It was a while back so I can't really remember.
