so I am trying to set up IVS periods. The ivs is trigging at times I dont want and sending notifactions to my phone during working hours I have set it up using the web services page. I have it deactivated the rules in the second picture to stop getting triggers all day long. Under smart plan I have IVS active. ANy ideas how to get just messages during the 1700 to 600 hours and not 24hours

I may not understand but the setting you have in the top image would trigger everything EXCEPT 0600 to 1700

hmmmm have to think about that...what camera model? Have you tried deleting the rule completely and rebooting the camera then set a new rule fro scratch?
What browser are you using to access the camera?

You’re setting it in the camera itself right? Not the NVR or SmartPSS...i would remove on both of those as well.. I never configure anything via the NVR that I can set directly on the camera.

well i think you just hit the nail on the head. I was doing it to the NVR but found this on the camera so when I was adding the rule it was making it 24hrs on the camera (pic is from the camera settings) 1574301123027.png

I find that if you set things in the camera itself first, the NVR will adopt it correctly. Doesn’t work well the other way around many times.

Don’t forget to select all the weekdays (M-F) when I’m assuming you’re at work. Then you won’t have to change the times form each day separately ( which may or may not have been your initial problem to begin with).

I’m able to set the PTZ to react to another camera’s event via my older XVR. Just dont make any changes to the camera settings except on the camera itself.
