What am I doing wrong in IVS on my 5442ZE? I have it set to only do people and not vehicles. No problem there. But how is a bird a person? I don't like to think someone is at my door when I have the notification come, and then find out it was a little bird. Is it me, or just the way it is going to have to be? Thanks.
 
Sometimes it can be tricked.

Ways to mitigate it include doing global configuration to calibrate it to your field of view.

Another option is to set a min size larger than the bird.

And make sure that MD and SMD are not on.

MD? I know SMD is Smart Motion Detection, but MD, I can't find.
 
For min size you simply draw a box larger than the object you are trying to not have it trigger for. So you will have to playback when it triggered and then guesstimate a size for the object.
