Pictured below is a Dahua IPC-HDBW5421E-Z and I need clarification on the jacks/ports (can't find anything with details on using them). The red one I thought was a composite mic-in, but when I plugged a mic in and got no sound (Microseven M7WP-MIC). Do I have to continue playing with the camera's and Blue Iris config to get sound in or is this not a mic-in port? If the latter, what is it?

Also, for the AUDIO out &in and ALARM in & out terminal block, what type of devices do I need to utilize those features?

Yeah your proably right in assuming that usually ( usually) red and or white composite are defined as audio, and yellow is usually video.
But who says they are following an industry standard....Hmmm...I hate cutting microphone cords to jimmy rig/test stuff , I've done it before, and I'll probably do it again someday.
I wonder if thats a local video out test connection for a technician LCD screen.
