JPEG SNAPSHOTS

Below are my settings for JEPEG snapshots. I was trying to setup so only snapshots were taken when the camera was triggered. About 10% of the time this happens but none are taken for short duration triggers. Is there a minimum time a trigger must occur before a snapshot is taken? It appears it should also be taking a snapshot every 10 minutes but it does not. Do I have it setup incorrectly? I really don't want snapshots every ten minutes either.

Currently you have it set to take a snapshot every 10 minutes DURING a trigger. So if the trigger is less than 10 minutes, it will not take a snapshot.

if you uncheck 'only when triggered' it will take a snapshot every 10 minutes, forever, regardless of trigger state.

To take snapshots when the camera is triggered you might be better setting this up on the "Post" tab rather than on the "Record" tab.

Much appreciated. I was thinking a different way. So from what your saying it will trigger a snapshot immediately but won’t fire again for 10 minutes if it’s still in the original triggered state even thought more triggers have occurred in that 10 minute period? Have I got it?

I do understand it taking snapshots every 10 minutes with other box unchecked.

Thanks srglassw didn’t even think of that; I’ll have to do some research.
