I am having a really weird thing happen with my BI setup. I have remote access working fine over web and on the official BI app (ios).
However, Using a smartapp on smartthings to change the profiles by calling the json URL, it's getting timeouts every so often (75% of the time).
I have worked with the developer of the smartthings app and confirmed it's only happening for me so it must be some sort of network issue.
I have re-setup remote access (blue iris wizard) and everything was green. I have tried a new port (originally it was 88 now 8888) still no go.
I have my server directly connected to my main router, but I do have quite a few devices on my system (4 HD cameras via a 16 port network switch running on the same router + a bunch of other home automation devices). But again, remote access on official app works fine.
I have not disabled the windows firewall but was going to try that next.
Has anyone had a similar issue and managed to fix it before?
I would really appreciate any advice.
