just a heads up for those with Hikvision Cameras before you disable hik connect

while tweaking my settings for deep stack I came across a camera that had Hikconnect enabled and while I am meticulous when it comes to keeping my enemies out of my network I was alarmed that it was enabled, as I squash that like a bug. but when I disabled the hikconnect, it bricked the camera. so beware and remember to check those cameras from time to time

Oh yeah, when it did that I got "unusual network traffic' and it locked up BI, so thinking that was a fluke I unplugged the camera for a few hours plugged it into the POE switch, accessed the camera via the hikvision desktop app, checked the settings, rebooted and could see it through the app but it was still off line in BI and than wham did it again.
that is the second hikvision to brick itself, which is why I will only buy from Andy from now on
