I only turned down the IR on T5442T as the picture was noisy after I set up the B5449T under the T5442T .
Question If two cameras are setup close do you get double the IR, as in attachment on post #16

Can you share a picture of the Night street from T5442T , while forcing it to be in color? Is your D2 with matching sensor sizes (older model had 1/1.8" + 1/2 " sensors ) ?

WOW pretty big difference. I have a few T5442T running in color at night (they are LED version but i think sensor is the same), and thought they were pretty good. But D2 is just so much brighter.
The 1/f=1.0 lens gathers about 3 times as much light as that 1/f=1.8 lens. (1.8² is 3.24)
That is because the lens area is ~3 times bigger but focuses the light on the same sensor size.

If the area is reliably lit, I would probably settle for the 5442-LED-S2, as it seems to be the above camera without IR support. I would only consider the D2 if the light isn't reliable or if there are unlit regions within IR range too. (or if I had emergency power in case of blackout).
