It was walking on the dirt road that runs through our property. It came from the direction of open hillside and was headed toward a more populated area.
Exactly...and for a second or two I thought I heard the old "Pink Panther" theme song as he saunters by....Love the way it just walks through the gate without so much as a thought.
I was looking to see if it had a collar, but I could not be sure. If there is one, it is not obvious.
I decided to not tell anyone, because they were so breif. But then I got an idea... Google Cougar sightings in Wisconsin.
Then I got a DNR report map with purple circles highlighting reported sightings.
OK now they have a full blown webpage lol

I've seen 2 in person in my life. Both from moving cars. and both just short enough to question your sanity. But yeah that looks like the ones i"ve seen.
Thankfully I paid enough attention to Mutual of Omaha's wild Kingdom on Saturday mornings to learn me something about Cats.
Women are called Cougars, men are called dirty old men. What's wrong here?
