mechanically, I do not think there is any answer to a laser pointer vs camera other than a polarized lens. No camera adjustments would fix this. You are having a highly concentrated beam of photons hitting a camera sensor designed to be super sensitive to gain the smallest number of photons. Kinda like a perp wearing a ski mask to defeat the purpose of a camera.... not much you can do about it. (granted, can see height, walking gait, sound, etc). Hence, additional cameras in the area to cover each other.
