Hi, I have Dahua with old firmware and I would like to know if I can upgrade to new firmware safely. and where do I find the right firmware?
having a problem with the NVR handling 4K cameras, the video freezer on the NVR but not direct in the browser or BI.

Yes, I have searched and I'm still confused.

You are most likely surpassing the capabilities of the NVR. It can only handle so much incoming data before it chokes.
Firmware update will not solve this, it will take purchasing an NVR with more horsepower. Or reducing the data coming from the cameras, by reducing the framerate's and or the bitrates.

+1 that a firmware update will do nothing. Drop the bit rate, FPS, and resolution of cams to get below the limit or upgrade NVR.
