I currently have a Laview cam as a front door camera. It works great in the day, not well at night due to reflection of the window (it is indoors).
I have a covered walkway where the camera is pointed. This works well but there is no light to see people clearly when they approach.
I have a zigbee light that I would like to turn on when the camera detects motion to illuminate the area. The issue is I haven't found a way to get the camera to talk to the light in Smarthings or Vera. So I think I might have to get a Zwave motion sensors to do this. Any other ideas how to accomplish this? Any recommendations on a motion sensors (inexpensive is what I need). Thanks!
