I tried what zap did, and the device would not take the new firmware. Maybe because my firmware is V3.4.97 build 180328 ?
In tftp, the device you request the file, time out after the block 0.
Using zape's instruction I was able to update the firmware to NVR_K74_BL_ML_STD_V4.30.085_210409
After "ctrl+u", I had to copy and paste the command " setenv bootcmd ';update' " to start the firmware update process.
I also have JST connectors for sale if anyone is interested. $5 shipped and I can take paypal, just send me a message.
I can't get the LaView p2p working with dev.guardingvision.com anymore. I now just use OpenVPN and the LaView app.
Frame rate is either 1 or 30 FPS, nothing in between.
Also Channel zero no longer works.
Think hard before upgrading the firmware.
At least I can use firefox/chrome to look at the view feed instead of just Internet Explorer.
I flashed the firmware to NVR_K74_BL_ML_STD_V3.4.112_200415.zip and channel 0 is working, probably going to stay with this as I need channel 0 more than being able to view the video in Firefox/Edge/Chrome.
Not sure what channel 0 is, my numbering starting from D1 and it works just fine. I'm on v4.3.060 (as on the screenshots above)
I see there is a newer FW out there DS-7608NI-K1(B)
Did you try to use Hik-Connect instead of laview p2p?
