I have the lechange NVR from 2018 and was wonder if it's worth the upgrade to EmpireTech NVR32CH-16P-2AI
I currently have 13 camera and plan to add a ptz if that matters. The AI seems nice and I'm a tech guy. Are the alert/security any better?
If not that model any other model you guys would recommended? or should I not upgrade at all?

This is the information on the Lechange.

Hopefully we can get a good reply here from someone who has more experience with the newer AI models of the NVRs.

NVRs : I have not used the newer AI versions, as a general note you want the Camera's features to match the level that the NVR has.

Example of this matching could be AI compute done on the camera and an API sends the info to the NVR for display and configuration.

SO do look closer at what the newer NVRs can do with older cameras. I would expect some limits to how many non-AI cameras it can do AI tricks with.
