Legacy Hikvision IPCAM Stream URL

Hi all

I have a couple of very old Hikvision ipcameras (6) and looking for their stream URL's - I've tried what I can find online but without success. I want to add them to my appletv CCTV app and need the stream url.
Camera model::: DS-2CD892PF-IR100
Server version: Firmare version V2.0 build 090811
Server version: Encode Version V4.0 build 090709
not possible to upgrade as they're so old.
they work perfectly with IVMS 4200 and the IVMS-4500 iphone app - with no manual configuration as
ip/domain
port: 8000

I have managed to telnet into the camera and get this:
busybox V1.2.1 (2008.04.15-05:55 +0000) Build in shell (ash)
enter help for a list of davinci system commands.

directories are:
bin
boot
davinci
dev
etc
home
lib
media
mnt
opt
param
proc
root
srv
sys
tmp
var

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

• Have you found any URLs with your search that you tried and that did not work?
• If so, what are those URLs?
• Are you using VLC when you try them?

It may be worth checking if those old cameras support ONVIF, in which case ONVIF Device Manager (sourceforge.net) will show you lots of useful data.
Give ODM some valid logon credentials, at the top left of the window, and it will automatically find ONVIF devices on the same address range as the PC.
The RTSP URLs can be seen at the bottom of the Live Video page.

I saw several specs for that old series and one alluded to ONVIF but the model suffixes were so convoluted I decided to get more feedback from the OP.
But certainly it won't hurt, ODM is free and it won't cause the cam to explode, right?
