The fox, which appears to have lost most its fluffy coat, came into the back yard through a small fence cutout on the southwest side of the house (so the cats don't have to jump over the fence all the time). But the fox left the backyard jumping over the 8' fence on the southeast side of the backyard. It's amazing how much smaller the fox is without all of its fur. I counted five foxes in the neighborhood overnight and there are houses everywhere.
