Hello All,
New member here! I'm running into a strange issue... Hopefully, someone has seen this. My NVR is connected via HDMI to a TV, one camera is showing "No link" on live view, but under camera management, its there and works; also, that same camera appears in the iVMS-4500 app and when logged in through the IE browser. And input would be greatly appreciated.

It doesn't seem to matter which view I'm under. If I'm in multi-view or going after that camera alone in Live view I can't access it; however, I can if I go to the common menu, camera then I can view its live feed. (see pics below)

This: "That's sub-stream vs main stream and maybe means check the camera video settings for those 2 video sources." I don't understand. Sorry.

what model NVR and firmware version? what model cameras? all the same?

my guess would be the one not working in the NVR UI is set to a higher resolution for the main stream than the NVR supports, tho it can pull the sub-stream (being displayed in the camera management live view). Or maybe it's the other way around and the NVR is trying to pull the sub-stream from the cam, but it's been turned off.

from the Configuration/Live View screen, select the mis-behaving cam and click the 'more settings...' button to see the stream type. if it's set to 'main stream', then it's the former. If it's set to sub-stream or 'auto', then the cams substream is probably disabled or the cam doesn't support a substream.

also, from the console, click on the pane for the cam to bring up the context menu,
and there's an option to 'switch to main/sub stream', depending on which one you;re watching now...

The model number for the NVR is DS-7608N-E2/8P.

Its on an RV, so the last time I used it was late December, then I was doing some reno work and the NVR sat on the table disconnected for 4 months, also, I had to replace the motherboard watch batt as it was dead. when I disconnected everything it all worked, now this.

From your image, all of my options are grayed out except close, playback and live view strategy. Also, the option you have highlighted I don't even have on my cams that work.

ISSUE RESOLVED!!!
I didn't think this would be the issue but I tried anyway. Here is the link. Hikvision DVR won’t display channels (solved) - Learn CCTV.com by changing the configurations under live view in his pics 5,6,7 somehow that made it appear. I didn't think it would help because my cam DID show up where his did not in pic 1. Thank you for your help guys. Since I'm kinda new to this I'll prob have some more questions at some point.
