NVR: DS-7608NI-E2 / 8P V(3.4.98 build 171121)
Camera 1 & 3: DS-2CD2232-I5 (V5.4.5 build 170123)
Camera 2: DS-2CD2732F-IS (V5.4.5 build 17023)
Camera 4: DS-2CD2332-I (V5.45 build 17023)

I noticed that if I have Enable Virtual Host checked and I login to an individual camera that when I return to the NVR configuration, the motion settings have all been reset for the cameras I logged into. The Line Crossing Detection settings don't get changed. Is this a bug? At this point, I'll shut off Virtual Host. Are there any settings you guys configure directly on the camera that you don't through the NVR?

Before I upgraded my firmware on the NVR (3.1.0 150511) and cameras (5.25 141201) I didn't notice this behavior.

There are some image settings that can only be performed on the camera itself. The NVR is the basis for other settings.

I bit the bullet and did a restore on the NVR and all the cameras. It appears to have solved this issue. I also was having issues where the dynamic analysis for motion (boxes turning colors to indicate motion) wasn't appearing on the main view as well. All these issues were resolved. Reminds me of dirty flashing ROM's into android phones. Sometimes there aren't issues but other times quirks. It's good practice to clean flash...
