Login error - "Overtime Login" ??

I've seen this a few times as I have been setting up the cameras, updating the firmware and trying to set up BI4.

What could "Overtime Login" possibly mean as a login error message?

I've always found that message appears when I'm using the web interface, then I stop using it (idle) for a while, then I try clicking on the web interface again. I think it means your login has timed out - it just doesn't tell you until you try to do an action.

A possible reason for this is also that I am now seeing problems using the web interface simultaneously with both Amcrest cameras and Dahua cameras. I think the plug-in is getting borked and confused about the two camera types.

I had this problem a lot and I narrowed it down to the plug in. If I removed the webrec directory in program files I was able to login without this error. But then once logged in and trying to install the plug in again, then logging it. I hit the same error.

Was only doing this for me in Firefox so managed to use ie instead for my cameras and nvr.

Just had this happen to me. I can't get passed the error if I have the plugin installed. I can't see the video without the plugin. ?

There are more ways to see the video that just the web interface. Many applications can stream video from the camera and display it to you, such as VLC and various Video Management Systems.

I reset the phone so I could log back in, if the plugin was installed.

It happens when you use host name instead of IP address ( at least it was in my case).

I went into the Windows HOST file and added a record there as "NVR" and its IP address so I wouldn't get the certificate error on internet explorer (or on other browsers).

However, when I start using the WEB GUI with this host name I start getting "overtime login" error. All you need to do is to replace host name in the address bar with NVR's IP Address.

Hope it helps someone.
