LOL, I can't even get a simple IVS tripwire event to work

Not even trying to do anything fancy with Blue Iris. Simply in the browser based Dahau interface. Set up a tripwire, simple enough...I have SmartPlan (IVS) enable (don't know why I need to but it is). Save everything....see my blue tripwire rule in the Live view...cross the tripwire and nothing....doesn't turn red, nothing tripped. It must getting last because I'm at a loss right now.
 
I found when testing this that I misunderstood the actual line, I 'set' my line up between two points on the screen image that aligned to stone pillars, it is not, the setting has no knowledge of depth of field and was in fact only actuated when I raised my arms well into the air around the top of the visible screen, if that makes sense?
 
It turns out I didn't understand tripwires either. Apparently, to trip a wire the object MUST pass completely through the tripwire. I had a tripwire above my head and I was just reaching across the line with my hand/arm...no trip. And because gravity would not allow me to go any higher I could not get my entire body above my line...LOL! So I drew a vertical line and walked completely from one side of the wire to the other. Bingo!
